What you'll be doing?

Supporting the business and our divisional offices, our Head Office functions cover all departments from our Executive Board through to our support functions such as Group Design and Technical, HR, Health and Safety, IT, Sales and Marketing, Commercial, Procurement, Group Finance, Corporate Affairs, as well as Legal and Company Secretariat. We also have a specialised function – Barratt Partnerships.
 
While the work varies from team to team, our key requirements don’t: you must be well organised, extremely helpful and resourceful, and able to use your initiative. You’ll understand that what you do is important, and impacts on your team, the department, and the wider business.
 
Reporting to the Brand and Content Manager you will be responsible for developing and executing a social media strategy to grow Barratt Redrow’s online presence. This includes managing all company social media accounts, closely monitoring the online presence to ensure brands are well represented, developing and scheduling new content working closely with third parties, managing audience engagement, analytics, and optimisation 
 
You will be expected to:
 
 Leadership, Management, and Strategy
  •  Develop and execute a social media strategy to manage Barratt Redrow’s online presence, including key platforms, content formats, use of brand ambassadors/influencers, customer engagement, and optimisation, working with third parties. 
  • Develop and maintain guidelines for the use of social media and content, specifying approved channels and formats, tone of voice, and supporting teams across marketing in implementing guidelines and assisting with queries. 
  •  Develop and maintain a rolling social media content calendar, supporting the Brand and Content Manager in developing and maintaining the wider content calendar. 
  • Collaborate with the Media Manager to ensure the social media strategy is aligned with the wider paid media strategy. 
  •  Drive best practice marketing processes in relation to social media across divisions, identifying opportunities to improve current practices, running training sessions, and presenting at knowledge share sessions. 
  • Maintain strong relationships with third parties, including creative and social agencies and third-party content creators to enable effective collaboration and content creation. 
  • Regularly align with colleagues across marketing to share priorities and drive strategic alignment across media, brand, communications, content, and creative to ensure cohesive omnichannel journeys. 
  • Keep informed on trends and innovations in digital marketing and social media. 

Social Media Management and Execution

  •  Manage and maintain all Barratt Redrow consumer social media accounts, this includes scheduling content, managing audience engagement, and driving ongoing optimisation. 
  • Closely monitor the presentation of content across social channels, perform regular audits to ensure all content adheres to the Group's brand and content guidelines and is regularly refreshed and updated. 
  •  Create and curate engaging content tailored to each platform, ensuring consistency with brand tone and visual identity.   
  • Collaborate with third-party content creators to develop and execute promotional content. 
  •  Support the execution of influencer and ambassador campaigns in line with the social strategy.   
  • Raise purchase orders and invoices, ensuring all creative costs are correctly logged in Group systems. 

Reporting, Analytics and Optimisation

  •  Define KPIs and benchmarks to assess performance against social objectives, tracking and reporting on delivery against annual content and social KPIs. 
  •  Analyse social media performance and provide actionable insights to improve engagement and reach, preparing performance reports to highlight the success of social media strategies. 
  •  Continuously monitor performance across social channels, identifying opportunities for improvement to refine the social strategy.   
 

To be successful in the role, we are looking for:
  •  Experience designing and delivering social media strategies to build brand awareness. 
  • Experienced in social media management with a strong understanding of social media platforms and principles. 
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to quickly build relationships, negotiate, and influence. 
  • Proactive and highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines. 
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions. 
  • Experience in managing agencies and third-party content creators to deliver engaging content. 
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and build strong relationships with stakeholders.
