What you'll be doing?

We hold Finance in high regard as a pivotal driver in our continued success and performance, so if you enjoy working in a front-line, operational function where your work is highly valued and impacts visibly on our people and business, this could be your kind of place.

Reporting to the Accountant, you will support the Finance team in ensuring the monthly management accounts are completed to meet required deadlines.

You will be expected to:

  • Processing accurate and timely payments and accounts are appropriately serviced
  • Own and reconcile the bank account / cashbook
  • Responsibility for the house sales ledger and liaising with sales and solicitors to ensure completion statements are accurate
  • Assist with treasury cashflow forecasts
  • Maintenance and reconciliation of petty cash
  • Company car administrator including dealing with new requests and the return of old fleet
  • Promote and act in accordance with Group policies and procedures
  • Assist in ad hoc tasks and reports as and when required
What you'll need?

To be successful in the role, we are looking for:

  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Possibly training for accounting qualification or wishing to commence studying
  • Able to work to tight deadlines
  • Strong reconciliation, mathematical and organisational skills required.
