What you'll be doing?
Supporting the business and our divisional offices, our Head Office functions cover all departments from our Executive Board through to our support functions such as Group Design and Technical, HR, Health and Safety, IT, Sales and Marketing, Commercial, Procurement, Group Finance, Corporate Affairs, as well as Legal and Company Secretariat. We also have a specialised function – Barratt Partnerships.
While the work varies from team to team, our key requirements don’t: you must be well organised, extremely helpful and resourceful, and able to use your initiative. You’ll understand that what you do is important, and impacts on your team, the department, and the wider business.

Due to a member of the Learning and Development team being seconded to another Group Support function, we are offering a fantastic opportunity for someone to join the Group Talent Team as a Learning and Development Project Manager on a temporary basis.
You will be expected to:
Reporting to the Group Leadership and Development Manager, you will be responsible for developing and managing a range of learning and development projects. With a passion for customers and learning. You will be responsible for developing a range of Apprenticeships programmes, Group Induction and the design of compliance training support as well as supporting our Armed Forces Transition Programme. Working in a fast paced, ever changing environment you will have the opportunity to take ownership of these projects and ensure they maximise the learning for our people.
What you'll need?
To be successful in the role, we are looking for:
An enthusiastic and experienced trainer who has scoped, designed and delivered a range of training programmes, particularly using digital learning technologies. Having an understanding of the house building sector is an advantage as is being able to work with key stakeholders at all levels of the business.   This role is pivotal in delivering our Armed Forces Transitional programme therefore having an Armed Services background would be desirable but not essential to this role.

Along with strong communication skills and the ability to build effective working relationships quickly, you will need to be an engaging Trainer who can work at all levels across a diverse organisation. You will be comfortable introducing blended learning methods. You will need great IT and analytical skills and proficient in working with Microsoft Excel.
You will have a National remit so you’ll need a full driving license and overnight stays will be required as part of the role.
