What you'll be doing?

Reporting to the Fitting and Services Manager, your role will be to oversee the bedroom furniture installations of the BD Living Bedroom Fitting Team and Sub-Contract Fitting Team, and the installations in Sales Office Marketing Suites throughout the Group.

You will be expected to:

  • Ensure the bedroom furniture installation teams produce the highest quality of workmanship in multi-floor developments
  • for the Group.
  • Promote, build and maintain good working relationships with site, sales and divisional personnel throughout the Group.
  • Carry out ongoing training and monitoring of bedroom fitting teams to ensure quality of installations.
  • Manage and report on a designated team of Fitters to ensure capability and installation quality is maintained.
  • Co-ordinate visits to customers to arrange inspections of installations regarding any defects or remedial orders if
  • required.
  • Liaise with divisional site and sales personnel to gage feedback and service levels by installations teams.
  • Attend divisional sub-contractor meetings and divisional QA meetings as required throughout the Group.
  • Ensure Health & Safety on site is adhered to in line with Group guidelines.
  • Assist with the recruitment of fitting teams as and when required.
  • Administer absence management as appropriate with installation teams.
  • Working to and reporting on KPI’s for health and safety, quality, vehicle and tool maintenance.
  • Managing installations and service levels for bedroom furniture division across London
What you'll need?

To be successful in the role, we are looking for:

  • Experience in a supervisory role with excellent communication and organisation skills.
  • Excellent product knowledge and have the required installation qualifications.
  • Proven fitting/carpentry/joinery/setting out qualifications and skills.
  • Holding an appropriate level of CSCS card required for Group.
  • Hold a current valid drivers licence.
  • Able to liaise on all levels with Group personnel.
