What you'll be doing?
Supporting the business and our divisional offices, our Head Office functions cover all departments from our Executive Board through to our support functions such as Group Design and Technical, HR, Health and Safety, IT, Sales and Marketing, Commercial, Procurement, Group Finance, Corporate Affairs, as well as Legal and Company Secretariat. We also have a specialised function – Barratt Partnerships.
 
Reporting to the Group Procurement Operations Director, you will assist in the management of all admin tasks required to support procurement input to COINS & Tradex platforms, resource code management and the maintenance and update of Docushare information. You will also analyse key reports to identify trends.
 
What will I be responsible for?
 
  • Updating COINS information to ensure divisions have the ability to purchase what is required on time and in full
  • Managing the Tradex process
  • Ownership for ensuring Commodity Managers are up to date with approvals
  • Managing resource code process (when released by GC)
  • Analysing COINS Reports to identify trends and liaising with the Commodity Manager to agree actions to be implemented
  • Assisting with Rebate collection if required
What you'll need?
To be successful in the role, we are looking for:
 
  • Good communication skills with both internal and external stakeholders
  • IT literate
  • Proficient on Excel
  • To have worked in a procurement/ buying function would be an advantage
